so much to do, so little time!
Today is my last day in the wonderful Irmo, South Carolina. I have thoroughly enjoyed being home for break. Not only is it exciting to spend time with family and friends, but relaxing to not have to worry about school. I am anticipating this coming Saturday, when I will leave for China. I slept in this morning, to only find that I had many errands to run before leaving to go back to Wofford tomorrow. I still need to purchase some gloves as well as long johns. I think mom and me are planning on doing that after they take me out to my "goodbye" dinner tonight. I chose to eat at Moes. It doesn't take much to make me happy! I am so excited about leaving, but dreading the packing process. I have begun to think about types of things I should pack, but am stumped about how to pack clothes for 3 weeks in a suitcase under 44 lbs. Oh boy, so fun being a girl! I am looking forward to experiencing the culture of China and can't wait to leave in 4 days!

ReplyDeleteThis will be an experience you will carry with you the rest of your life. Live in the moment and record every little detail! As your parents, we are a little nervous about you being gone so far away from us for so long. On the other hand, we are comforted knowing we have tried to expose you to other countries and cultures all of your life, and therefore we know you will handle any difficult situation (hopefully none) with ease. Sounds like we have a busy night ahead of us picking up "last minute" items.
We can't wait to hear about your adventures in China! Have fun, be safe and remember God and His angels will be watching over you for us!!
